NCT ID NCT04562831

Summary

This study is testing whether a dietary supplement containing two natural compounds, Nicotinamide Riboside and Pterostilbene, can slow the progression of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). It involves 380 people with ALS who will take either the supplement or a placebo pill. The goal is to see if this combination can delay worsening of symptoms, improve quality of life, and potentially increase survival time.
