Summary
This study looked at how nerves in the spine work in people recently diagnosed with ALS compared to healthy volunteers. The goal was to find specific electrical signals that could help doctors understand the disease better and track its progress. 101 participants took part in tests that measured nerve responses using gentle electrical, magnetic, or mechanical stimulation.
