Summary
This study looked at how spinal nerves work in people recently diagnosed with ALS compared to healthy volunteers. The goal was to find early signs of nerve damage that could help doctors diagnose ALS sooner and track how treatments work. About 100 people took part, and the researchers used painless electrical and magnetic tests to measure nerve activity.
