Summary

This study tested whether a daily ketone drink could slow the progression of ALS, a nerve disease that weakens muscles. 81 adults with ALS took either the drink or a placebo for 6 months. Researchers measured changes in a blood marker called neurofilament light chain and tracked survival and function.
