Families hold key to unlocking ALS mystery in groundbreaking study

Summary
This study aims to understand how ALS begins and progresses in people who carry a genetic risk but don't yet have symptoms. Researchers will follow 300 family members of people with inherited ALS over time, offering genetic counseling and testing. The goal is to gather essential information to help develop future therapies that could prevent or delay the onset of ALS.
