First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a mobile app called ALRITE that helps health workers in Uganda diagnose and manage breathing illnesses like pneumonia and asthma in young children. About 48 healthcare workers at 4 health centers will use the app for 6 months, and researchers will compare how often wheezing is diagnosed before and after. The goal is to see if the tool is practical and improves care.
