Snack your way to better fitness? study tests almonds for older adults
NCT ID NCT04778371
Summary
This study is testing whether eating almonds as a snack twice daily for 12 weeks can improve fitness, body composition, and energy levels in active, overweight adults aged 50-59. Researchers will compare the effects of almonds to a calorie-matched control snack in 50 participants. The goal is to see if this simple dietary change can help manage age-related declines in physical function and metabolism.
