First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a stem cell transplant from a healthy donor could help people with multiple myeloma whose cancer came back after initial treatment. It compared this approach to continuing with standard drug therapy. The trial was stopped early and included 28 adults aged 18 to 70. The goal was to see if the transplant could improve survival at five years.
