First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether alendronate, a drug used for osteoporosis, can prevent pelvic fractures in cervical cancer patients treated with chemotherapy and radiation. About 65 adults with non-metastatic cervical cancer will receive alendronate alongside their cancer treatment. Researchers will track fracture rates, bone density, and quality of life to see if the drug helps keep bones strong.
