First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at how alcohol affects tremors in people with essential tremor, dystonia, and Parkinson's disease. 45 participants will receive either an alcoholic drink or a non-alcoholic placebo on two separate days. Researchers will measure tremor changes using a device and clinical exams to see if alcohol's effect is more than just a placebo.
