First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a recovery coach and an online sober community can help people who have had a liver transplant stay away from alcohol. Forty adults who received a liver transplant in the last 5 years and have a history of alcohol use disorder will take part. Half will get standard care plus a recovery coach, and the other half will also get access to a digital sober community app. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and well-liked by patients.
