NCT ID NCT07083765

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests a procedure called renal denervation, where a small amount of alcohol is injected into the nerves around the kidneys to lower blood pressure. About 142 adults with high blood pressure will stop their usual medications and receive either the real procedure or a fake one (sham). The goal is to see if this treatment safely reduces blood pressure without needing daily pills.
