Weight-Loss surgery and alcohol: researchers dig into patient records

Summary
This study aims to understand how alcohol use disorder is considered in the medical care of people who have had weight-loss (bariatric) surgery. Researchers will look at the medical records of 20 adults who have had this surgery and are also being treated for alcohol addiction. The goal is to see if their surgery history is properly tracked during addiction treatment, which could help improve future care for similar patients.
