Weight-Loss surgery and alcohol: a hidden link?

Summary
This study aims to understand the relationship between alcohol use disorder and weight-loss (bariatric) surgery. Researchers will review the medical records of 20 patients who have had the surgery and also received treatment for alcohol problems. The goal is to see how their surgery was considered during their addiction care, which may help improve future treatment plans.
