First seen Dec 24, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at whether changes in a blood protein called albumin can predict if a sepsis patient in the ICU will recover or die, compared to the standard test (lactic acid). Researchers will track 40 non-surgical ICU patients with sepsis. The goal is to find a more accurate way to forecast patient outcomes.
