First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This observational study follows 200 severely burned adults in intensive care to see if giving albumin (a protein in blood) during the first day after injury is linked to better outcomes like survival and fewer organ failures. Researchers will track deaths, kidney failure, and lung problems over 28 days. The goal is to gather real-world data to help design future treatment trials.
