First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking β-alanine for four weeks helps trained male kickboxers perform better in sport-specific tests. Twenty-eight athletes took either the supplement or a placebo while keeping their normal training. The main focus was on a kickboxing speed test and measures of power and strength. Results could show if this legal supplement is a useful aid for high-intensity striking sports.
