First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study aims to find the right cutoff value for a lab test called ProNephro AKI (NGAL) that helps identify ICU patients at risk for moderate to severe acute kidney injury. Researchers will collect blood and urine from 800 adult ICU patients and track their kidney function over 48-72 hours. The goal is to improve early detection and risk assessment, not to provide a treatment.
