NCT ID NCT06274957
First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether two types of vibration devices—one that sends air pulses into the airways and one that shakes the chest wall—can improve breathing and sleep quality in people hospitalized for a COPD flare-up. 33 adults with severe COPD were enrolled. Researchers measured lung function, sleep quality, and physical performance before and after using the devices. The goal was to see if these treatments offer extra relief during an acute exacerbation.
