Asthma mystery: do blocked airways sabotage inhalers?

NCT ID NCT06970080

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at why some people with asthma don't get better with standard inhalers. Researchers will use MRI and CT scans to see if blocked or narrow airways stop the medicine from reaching the lungs. They will test if oral medications work better for these patients. The goal is to find new ways to personalize asthma care.
