NCT ID NCT05035940
First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how noise from airplanes flying overhead at night affects people's sleep. About 400 people living near airports will wear a small device that tracks their heart rate and movement while they sleep, and a recorder will capture the sounds in their bedroom. The goal is to understand how loud an airplane noise needs to be to wake someone up, which can help create better rules to protect sleep.
