Summary
This study aims to find out if using a simple air bubble works as well as a special gas bubble to help the retina heal after surgery for a detached retina. It will involve 150 patients in the UK who have a specific type of retinal detachment. Researchers will compare how well the retina reattaches and how quickly vision recovers between the two methods.
