AI doctor vs. human doctor: which keeps heart patients out of hospital?

NCT ID NCT07369141

Summary

This study is testing whether a personalized medication plan created by an artificial intelligence (AI) program works better than standard care for people with chronic heart failure. About 430 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either their doctor's usual treatment or a treatment plan suggested by the AI, which their doctor can choose to follow. The main goal is to see if the AI-guided approach prevents serious health events like hospitalizations and improves patients' quality of life over 9 months.
