First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested how well artificial intelligence (AI) tools perform on children's medical cases compared to pediatricians. About 30 doctors answered test cases, and some saw AI suggestions before giving their final answer. The goal was to see if AI can help doctors make more accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions. No real patients were involved, and the study is already complete.
