First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether artificial intelligence (AI) software can help 3D-printed dental crowns fit better right off the printer, reducing the need for dentists to manually adjust them. Researchers will enroll 30 adults who need a dental crown and compare crowns designed with and without AI-based collision correction. The goal is to see if AI can save time and improve the fit of digital dental restorations.
