Summary
This study tested an artificial intelligence (AI) system called Vision-LSTM to see if it could accurately diagnose thyroid nodules that are suspicious for cancer (TI-RADS 4b) from ultrasound images. Researchers used data from 401 patients and compared the AI's performance to that of junior and senior doctors. The goal was to see if AI could improve diagnostic accuracy and consistency.
