Summary

This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) model called Vision-LSTM could accurately diagnose thyroid nodules that are suspicious for cancer (TI-RADS 4b) using ultrasound images. Researchers used data from 401 patients and compared the AI's performance to that of junior and senior doctors. The goal was to see if AI could help make thyroid cancer diagnosis faster and more consistent.
