NCT ID NCT06911398

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested whether an AI system can safely have a medical conversation with patients before an urgent care visit. 100 adults seeking urgent care talked to the AI, supervised by a doctor who could step in if needed. The goal was to see if patients and doctors found the AI helpful and safe, and to compare the AI's suggested diagnosis with the actual one.
