Summary
This study is testing a new computer tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help dentists more consistently spot early signs of inflammation (redness) in the gums around dental implants. The AI analyzes color in digital mouth scans to provide an objective measurement, moving beyond the current method of visual inspection, which can vary between dentists. Researchers will see if this tool improves the accuracy and confidence of dentists at different experience levels when diagnosing this common issue.
