Your phone as a coach: AI texts aim to boost medication habits
NCT ID NCT05742685
Summary
This study tested whether personalized text messages, sent by a smart computer program, could help people with type 2 diabetes remember to take their daily pills. The program learned what kind of messages worked best for each person over time. Researchers compared these smart messages to generic ones to see which helped people take their medication more consistently and improved their blood sugar levels over six months.
