Smartwatch AI tracks whether patients take their pills

NCT ID NCT07455916

Summary

This study tested whether wearing an AI-powered smartwatch could help people with mood disorders take their medications more consistently. 78 participants aged 12 and older were randomly assigned to either wear the smartwatch for 4 weeks or receive their usual care. Researchers compared how medication adherence changed between the two groups to see if the technology made a difference.
