AI Eye-Scan app could spot anemia in seconds
NCT ID NCT07678762
First seen Jul 01, 2026 · Last updated Jul 02, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app can accurately detect anemia by analyzing images of the lower eyelid. The app uses artificial intelligence to estimate hemoglobin levels without a blood draw. Researchers will compare the app's results to standard lab tests in 3,000 adults who are hospitalized or in outpatient care.
