AI listens to your sleep to spot apnea
NCT ID NCT07447999
Summary
This study is testing a new, simpler way to screen for obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers are developing an AI tool that uses a digital stethoscope and a finger sensor to listen to breathing and measure oxygen levels during sleep. The goal is to create an easier, home-based screening method compared to the complex overnight lab test currently used for diagnosis.
