NCT ID NCT07598721

First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether an AI scribe (a tool that listens and writes notes) could reduce burnout and workload for doctors. 139 doctors and advanced practice providers from primary care, oncology, and urology at the University of Washington took part. Half used the AI scribe, half did not. The study measured burnout, task load, and time spent on electronic health records.
