Robot surgeons take on deadly brain bleeds in groundbreaking trial
NCT ID NCT07205263
Summary
This large trial is testing whether a new, less invasive brain surgery guided by artificial intelligence and a robot can help people recover better from a severe type of stroke caused by bleeding in the brain. It will compare this high-tech surgery to standard treatments across four different types of these dangerous bleeds. The goal is to see if the precise robotic surgery leads to better functional recovery and quality of life for patients.
