Robot brain surgery could boost stroke recovery

Summary
This study tests whether a robot guided by artificial intelligence can help surgeons perform minimally invasive brain surgery for people with moderate bleeding in the basal ganglia (a deep brain area). The goal is to improve recovery and reduce long-term disability after a stroke. About 330 adults with this type of brain hemorrhage will be randomly assigned to receive either the AI-assisted robotic surgery or standard care.
