Summary
This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can analyze MRI scans to predict how well rectal cancer responds to chemotherapy and radiation before surgery. Researchers will enroll 1,700 adults with locally advanced rectal cancer. The goal is to help doctors identify patients who achieve a complete response, potentially avoiding unnecessary surgery.
