Stanford's AI heart study: can computers predict which AF treatments work?

NCT ID NCT05371405

Summary

This study aims to use machine learning (a type of artificial intelligence) to better understand different types of atrial fibrillation (AF) and predict which ablation treatments will be successful for individual patients. Researchers will analyze detailed heart electrical data from 120 patients undergoing standard AF ablation procedures. The goal is to develop AI tools that can help doctors personalize treatment plans by predicting which patients will benefit most from specific ablation approaches.
