AI chatbots aim to fix ovarian cancer screening myths among doctors
NCT ID NCT07503054
First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
Many gynecologists overestimate the benefits of ovarian cancer screening for average-risk women. This study will test whether a short AI-guided conversation can correct these misperceptions. About 350 gynecologists will participate, comparing an AI discussion about screening evidence to one about general cancer facts. The goal is to see if the AI can reduce unnecessary screening recommendations.
