AI reads ultrasounds to spot hidden thyroid cancer spread
NCT ID NCT07299318
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aims to develop an AI model that analyzes neck ultrasound images and reports to predict whether thyroid cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes. Researchers will compare the AI's predictions with actual surgical results from 3,200 patients. If successful, this tool could help doctors make faster, more accurate treatment decisions without relying on invasive needle biopsies.
