Summary

This Mayo Clinic study is testing whether a new AI-assisted program is practical and helpful for people with serious illness. The program guides patients through creating a personal life story document with a trained helper, aiming to reduce emotional and existential distress. Researchers will enroll about 40 adults to see if they find the program worthwhile and can complete it.
