AI heart scan aims to spot blocked arteries faster
NCT ID NCT06314295
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors detect coronary artery disease by analyzing heart ultrasound videos. It aims to create a faster, more automated tool to screen for blocked heart arteries, which could reduce the need for more invasive tests. The research will involve 1,500 people who are already scheduled for a standard diagnostic procedure called coronary angiography.
