AI vs. irregular heartbeat: can a computer map help fix your heart?

Summary
This study is testing whether adding an artificial intelligence (AI) mapping system to a standard heart procedure works better for controlling atrial fibrillation (AF), a common irregular heartbeat. About 423 adults with persistent or returning AF will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard ablation procedure alone or the standard procedure guided by the AI map. The main goal is to see which group has better control of their AF one year later, with or without continuing heart rhythm medications.
