AI steps into emergency rooms: customizing treatment for deadly aortic tears
NCT ID NCT07382375
Summary
This study aims to see if using artificial intelligence (AI) to guide anti-inflammatory treatment after emergency aortic dissection surgery leads to better recovery than standard doctor-chosen treatments. Researchers will enroll 300 patients who need emergency surgery for a torn aorta and randomly assign them to receive either AI-guided personalized therapy or standard care. The main goal is to see if the AI approach reduces organ failure and improves other recovery measures in the week after surgery.
