AI takes on breast cancer: could a computer outsmart standard treatment?

Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) model can pick a more effective combination of targeted drugs for women with HER2-positive breast cancer before surgery. About 280 women will either receive the AI-chosen therapy or the standard drug combo. The main goal is to see if the AI-guided approach leads to a higher rate of complete tumor disappearance at the time of surgery.
