AI scans aim to tame Chemo's harsh side effects
NCT ID NCT07144618
Summary
This study aims to see if analyzing a patient's body composition from a CT scan can help doctors better adjust chemotherapy doses. Researchers will test if using this scan data to guide dose reductions for high-risk patients leads to fewer severe side effects, like dangerous drops in white blood cells, compared to standard dosing methods. The goal is to make chemotherapy more tolerable while maintaining its effectiveness for people with endometrial or ovarian cancer.
