AI scans aim to tame Chemo's harsh side effects
NCT ID NCT07144618
Summary
This study is testing a new way to personalize chemotherapy doses for people with endometrial or ovarian cancer. Researchers will use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze a patient's body composition from a standard CT scan. The goal is to see if adjusting the chemo dose based on this scan can reduce severe side effects, like dangerous drops in white blood cells, without making the treatment less effective.
