AI steps in to prevent nuclear medicine mishaps
NCT ID NCT07174089
Summary
This study aims to use artificial intelligence (AI) to spot and predict problems when medicine is injected for nuclear scans or treatments. It will monitor 1,500 patients to see if the medicine leaks from the vein, which can cause tissue damage and make scan results less accurate. The goal is to create a real-time monitoring system that can alert staff to problems and help correct scan data.
