Summary
This study tests an artificial intelligence tool that helps sort patient referrals from primary care doctors to specialists. The goal is to see if the AI can make faster and more accurate decisions than the current system, reducing wait times for urgent cases and cutting down unnecessary specialist visits. About 934 referrals will be randomly assigned to either AI or human review, and researchers will track how many get a final decision within six months.
