AI steps into the operating room as a teaching assistant for anesthesia trainees
NCT ID NCT06667401
Summary
This study tested whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help train new doctors in performing ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, a common anesthesia technique. Twenty anesthesia residents with no prior experience used the AI device during their training. Researchers wanted to see if the AI made it easier for instructors to teach and for residents to learn this skill.
