Summary
This study tested a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool called RetinAIcheck. The tool analyzes photos of the back of the eye (retina) to automatically detect and grade damage caused by high blood pressure, known as hypertensive retinopathy. Researchers tested it on 729 patients to see how accurately it could identify the severity of this eye condition compared to human eye doctors.
